We have completed house #4 at the corner of Balsam Drive and
Cleveland in Stewart Lennox. The home is a small two bedroom designed for very high
energy efficiency. The exterior walls are constructed with Polysteel insulating concrete
forms (R50+). The roof is structural insulating panels (R42) and the home has very
low air infiltration. This design will give the family a cool home in the summer and
very low heating costs in the winter.

We want to begin work on house #5 soon but we need to raise more capital before we can begin. At this time we are more than half way to our goal of having the cost to build covered 100% by material donations and cash in the bank. Thanks to our commercial donors and Significant Builders and the Klamath community for getting us this far in a short time. With your support we'll be building again soon.
10/09 -- The siding and facia are on and we are ready to caulk and paint.
Many thanks to Certenteed for the siding donation.
9/09 -- The counter tops are on and the sinks and toilet are installed and
plumbed. Top Secret donated the counter tops.
8/09 -- The cabinets are installed and waiting for counter tops. Columbia Plywood
donated the materials and the local Wood Crafters Guild built them for us.
7/09 -- The tile floor is installed. This took a while, but the tile was donated
and it shure looks good thanks to the patience and perseverance of our volunteers.
6/09 -- The wall board is installed, jointed and painted after so many months
of bare framing. Many thanks to the hard-working volunteers for a job well done.
Did you know? The less generous the local community is the longer it takes us to build a house.
